Special school shows of Andhar Nogori Choupot Raja: July 2015

Special school shows of    Andhar Nogori Choupot Raja


A play in Bengali and English based on the Hindi play by Bhartendu Harishchandra and A. K. Ramanujan’s translation of a folk tale.


“Once upon a time in the Kingdom of Foolishnessthe king and the minister were both idiots”






Designed especially to open up students to the magic of stories through a trip to the theatre.
 
The special school show will include:
  • A special pre-show session for school students
  • The show Andhar Nogori Choupot Raja
  • A post-show Question and Answer session with the performers
  • Take home do-it-yourself lanterns 
Total duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Ideal for classes 4 to 8, but the programme can be opened up for any age group.

Two Shows available
9:30am to 11am
12.30pm to 2:00pm

Bulk booking will be Rs 100 per student
One teacher (for every 50 students) is welcome to the event free of charge.

Full house booking = Rs 48,000/- 
(which can accommodate upto 480 students and 9 teachers)
Please send in confirmations by 7 July, 2014. 
Bulk bookings will be given to schools on a first come first served basis.
